This little lamp is perfect for someone her age. It's very small and made entirely out of plastic. It doesn't plug in. It uses three small batteries, which are included and already in the lamp. It also comes with an extra set of batteries. To turn it on you simply flip it over. The lights are LED bulbs so it doesn't get heat up. It has silver glitter inside but once it's on the light changes colors from green to blue to red. It automatically shuts off after a few minutes.
