(More customer reviews)I saw this lamp in a high-end catalog at a higher price. When I spotted in on Amazon at a lower price, I decided to give it a try. This little lamp gives off some decent light. It does take 4 "C" batteries, which are not included. Originally, I had planned to use it in my basement, but I have found it to be a great size for the shelves that are on either side of my kitchen sink. In fact, I like this little lamp so much that I just ordered a 2nd one so that I have a matching set. The lamp would also be very good in a power outage and you can actually hang it up from the top. Very pleased overall.
