I needed a special touch in the lamps to keep it traditional without being 'old fashioned'. I looked 'everywhere' trying to find just this kind of lamp... a bit of elegant oriental. The white silk pagoda shaped shade really sparkles in a room with 'almost navy' walls, white crown molding, and white sheers. Also great is that these take 3-way bulbs so you can set the light level just how you want it. Beautiful lamps, good price!!!
