Cons:
-cheaply made, with many flaws in the finish. At their best they look a little rustic. At their worst, they look like the tiny chips, dings, scratches, and imperfections that they are.
-cheap parts around the decorative swirl are loose and will rattle around when you move the lamp -- I expected better for this price.
-Shade has a spray-painted finish; it is not colored glass.
-cord is very short; no idea where a normal-height human would mount the dimmer switch so that it would actually be useful.
I don't feel like I got a very good deal on this lamp. I would have rated it lower except that considering how hard I had to look just to find a design I liked that didn't cost more than my car payment, I'm not too dissatisfied with what I wound up with. It does look really beautiful once you position it just right so that most of the flaws are at the back. But for what I paid, especially given that this lamp is advertised as having a suggested retail price over $200, I found the quality very disappointing.
