(More customer reviews)I bought this for my Mother who is elderly and has arthritis that has caused her fingers to become deformed. She loves that she can just touch the base of the lamp with her knuckle to turn it on and off since it is very diffucult for her to turn the small knobs of regular lamps. The lamp has three intensity settings, with the brightest at 40 watts. She also likes the look of the lamp, she has it placed on the end table by her chair. In the near future I will buy her a lamp that can accomodate a brighter wattage so that she may read or do whatever, then she can place this lamp on her nightstand.
