(More customer reviews)I bought one of the floor lamps that uses the same style top. Unfortunately the red glass pieces are very dark and will NOT look as light as is shown in the photograph. In fact you have to be within a few inches to see light through the red glass at all. They really should use a much clearer piece because then it would be truly stunning. Also, beware that Quoizel ships the screw top piece in a standard size...you will likely need to use a hack saw to cut it down so that the finial fits snugly. And measure twice..if you cut it too short the finial will not work properly. Otherwise it seems to be nicely made. They do warn customers not to handle the shade by the wire pieces as they are not designed to support the glass weight, so be careful.
