(More customer reviews)If you'd like to own a really ugly lamp, then this lamp is a winner. It's awful and looks really, really cheap. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how cheap it was. I returned this lamp as fast as I could. The shade is really dark, which, of course, adds to the charm of the ugly base. The base looks like fake something, but I'm not sure exactly what. It's just cheap and ugly. Thank goodness, Amazon made the return so easy.
