(More customer reviews)The description of the lamp states that it has a rotary light switch, but instead it has a cheap "in-line" (switch is on the electrical cord rather than the lamp) light switch. Maybe it is still considered a rotary, but "in-line" was never mentioned. Also, this lamp takes a very uncommon E27 Type A Bulb (who knows what the technical name for light bulbs are anyway???). If an in-line light switch and an uncommon light bulb is okay with you, than this is your lamp because the overall construction and lamp shade looks pretty solid. If not, like with me, then look for a lamp that uses a "standard" light bulb and a rotary (not in-line) switch.
