(More customer reviews)I purchased this at a local big box home improvement store via a link on the lamp's Amazon page because the price online seems to vary wildly. (Maybe there a few poor schmucks out there who just see 'Tiffany' and don't realize it's a knock-off of a knock-off and so plop down more than they should.) Anyhoo, the colors in the shade perfectly match one of my rooms' color scheme and I needed something tiny to fit in a bookshelf, so I went for it. Did I say tiny? PLEASE refer to the measurements. The piece will make your other small lamps feel like they're Goliath. When not illuminated it's nothing special and while not looking completely and totally cheap cheapo, it doesn't exactly scream luxury; the materials are not top notch and most purchasers won't expect them to be. But when lit, it warms up in a pretty darling way. The dragonfly is a bit overshadowed by the blue petals on top, but the blue was what I wanted to emphasize so that was fine by me. The finial is a nice touch, it screws on and off a lot better and has more heft than lamps I paid 5X as much for. It takes a chandelier Type B bulb, up to 25 watts. (The description here says a 13 watt but the instructions say you can go up to 25.) My only real complaint is that the cord--which is really generous, too generous in my case--came very crimped and unusually stiff; since it's obviously too long to worm back inside such an itty bitty base, like larger lamps would allow, the cord caused the base to sit off-center. It will relax eventually, but I had to mess with it for awhile and hold my tongue just right. So, little tiny somewhat crooked sitting lamp, I like you very much and am glad I found you for a total bargain. But not sure you're worth five stars, blue petals or not.
