1. It's noisy. It makes the typical fluorescent bulb noise, which can be annoying when it's a foot away from you on your desk and you're trying to read.
2. It creates a lot of glare. They advertise this thing trying to say it prevents glare. Right...
3. I find that I need to cover the on/off button at night because it's really bright when the light is off (my desk is in my room)
Aside from this, it works fine and gets the job done.
