(More customer reviews)Lamp was size indicated and color and shape were as indicated in photo, but the shade was slightly darker beige than I had anticipated. The ceramic base, though, does not appear to be solid ceramic, but a ceramic coating over a metal base. (Guess it could be argued that this makes the lamp more durable.)
The celadon glaze has a very attractive "crackle" effect, and the metal finial and trim on the base have a nice brushed finish.
Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and feel that it was a good value for the cost. It has a modern look that blends well with more traditional decor and is a good height for a table-top lamp at the end of a sofa.
